/whatnot/v1/search1 creditSearch Whatnot by keyword. Choose the tab with `vertical`: products (buy-it-now and auction listings with price, condition attributes and seller reputation), shows (live and scheduled auction streams with viewer count and start time), users (sellers with rating, followers and items sold), categories (Whatnot's own category tags) or all (Whatnot's mixed 'Top' feed). Whatnot serves roughly 24 rows per query on this surface and reports whether it has more. Whatnot does not publish a running bid for auction items outside the show itself, so no bid field is returned.
| Parameter | Allowed / range | Description | |
|---|---|---|---|
| query | required | — | What to search for on Whatnot - a keyword, brand, card set, player or seller name. |
| vertical = all | optional | all · products · shows · users · categories | Which Whatnot search tab to read. An unknown value is rejected here because the site would silently answer with the mixed 'all' feed instead. |
/whatnot/v1/product/detail1 creditOne Whatnot product listing in full: title, description, price, quantity, condition and the seller's own attributes (set, language, grade, rarity where the category has them), every image, when it was listed, whether offers are accepted, whether it is pinned in a show that is running right now, and the seller's public reputation (rating, reviews, followers, items sold, average ship days). Whatnot does not publish a running bid on the listing page.

| Parameter | Allowed / range | Description | |
|---|---|---|---|
| tag | required | — | Whatnot category tag - the name after /tag/ in the URL, e.g. pokemon_cards. `search` with vertical=categories finds the tag name for a keyword. |
