What a game, card or comic is worth, in the exact condition or grade
The PriceCharting API turns pricecharting.com into JSON in six actions.
6 active endpoints, on 2 and 3 credit tiers.

What PriceCharting endpoints does ReefAPI ship?
6 live read endpoints. Read-only data API: no writes, no account actions, no dashboard access on the target site.
PriceCharting API
4 of 6 endpoints, ready to run
Find a product by name, card number, UPC or ASIN, with three headline prices on every row.
// Press "Try it" and this pane shows exactly what the // live site returned this second — including an empty // result, if that is the truth. No key, no account.
How the PriceCharting API works
PriceCharting is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 491 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
Decide whether a card is worth grading
Three calls, from the card's name to the price of each grade, how many graded copies exist and what they actually sold for.
Every Charizard card with its id, set and the Ungraded, Grade 9 and PSA 10 prices.
Charizard 1st Edition #4: the price of all 19 grades the page lists, plus the PSA and CGC population for grades 1-10.
The PSA 10 copies that actually sold, with date, title, price and marketplace.
The gap between the Ungraded price and each grade, how rare a PSA 10 is, and the real sales behind the PSA 10 price.

}Same price columns, different grades — what the six price slots mean per category
PriceCharting stores six prices per product, but what each one is depends on the category. Read off product pages on 2026-10-14; the API returns each price with the label the page itself prints.
| slot (source_key) | video game | trading card | comic book | coin |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| used | Loose | Ungraded | Ungraded | Ungraded |
| cib | Complete | Grade 7 | 4.0 / VG | VF (20-35) |
| new | New | Grade 8 | 6.0 / Fine | AU (50-58) |
| graded | Graded | Grade 9 | 8.0 / VF | MS62 |
| boxonly | Box Only | Grade 9.5 | 9.2 / NM- | MS64 |
| manualonly | Manual Only | PSA 10 | 9.8 | MS66 |
Every price carries condition (the page's label) and source_key, so a card's PSA 10 is never read as a game's Manual Only. Funko Pops use Out of Box / In Box / New; LEGO uses Pieces Only / Complete / New / Pieces & Manual / Box Only / Manual Only. The Full Price Guide in product adds every other grade the page prices (Grade 1-6, BGS 10, CGC 10, SGC 10, BGS 10 Black, 2.0-10 for comics, MS60-MS70 for coins).
What PriceCharting publishes — measured 2026-10-14
PriceCharting prices video games and accessories, trading cards, comic books, US coins, Funko Pops and LEGO sets from completed sales. These are the numbers and limits measured on the live site.
consoles lists 236 video game systems, 281 Pokémon sets, 293 Magic sets, 280 Yu-Gi-Oh! sets, 130 One Piece sets, 14 Lorcana sets, 290 popular comic series, 112 Funko lines, 163 LEGO themes and 82 coin series.
9 conditions for a game, 19 grades for a trading card, 14 for a comic, 17 for a coin, 3 for a Funko Pop, 7 for a LEGO set. Ungraded / Loose was priced on every product checked; rare grades are null when the site has no price.
61 of 61 headline prices on 11 products in 8 categories matched the Full Price Guide; 60 of 61 matched the last point of the price chart (the 61st has no chart). Prices are in US dollars.
One point per month per condition: from December 2006 for Super Mario 64, from 2020-2021 for older cards, from release for new items.
Up to 30 completed sales per condition with date, title, price and marketplace (eBay, Goldin, Heritage, Fanatics); best-offer sales carry the list price too.
At most 100 results per search (200 with a category) and no further pages; console pages through every product of a set or console, 150 per page.
Sports cards (not on pricecharting.com), photos of sold items, and the site's collection and marketplace features.
What people build with PriceCharting
The jobs this data is most often used for.
endpoints
credits per call
Price a collection: product for each item gives the current price in the exact condition or grade you own.
Decide whether to grade a card: compare Ungraded with Grade 9, PSA 10 and BGS 10 in product, and check the PSA population.
Chart a market: price_history per condition for a console's best sellers or a card set's chase cards.
Check a deal: sales shows what the same item really sold for, by condition, with the date and marketplace.
What PriceCharting data costs
The cheapest call here is 2 credits, so $15/mo (Pro) buys 5,000 of them — $1.50 per 1,000 credits. Credits roll over and never expire, and failed or blocked calls are not charged.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up PriceCharting.
Get a free key →Is the price a real sale?▾
No. The prices are PriceCharting's current market price for each condition, which the site calculates from completed sales; it is not one sale. The completed sales themselves come from the sales action, with the date, the title of the listing, the sold price and the marketplace. On 61 headline prices across 11 products in 8 categories, every one matched the product's Full Price Guide.
Which grades do I get for a trading card?▾
Ungraded, Grade 1 to Grade 9.5, PSA 10, BGS 10, CGC 10, SGC 10, TAG 10, ACE 10, BGS 10 Black and CGC 10 Pristine, as the page lists them (19 for Charizard 1st Edition #4 from the Pokémon Base Set, 17 of them priced). A grade the site has no price for is null. Graded cards also come with the PSA and CGC population for grades 1 to 10.
How far back does the price history go?▾
As far as PriceCharting tracked the item: the Super Mario 64 Loose series starts in December 2006 (239 monthly points); card series start in 2020-2021 for older cards, at release for new ones. One point per month per condition, in US dollars; the last point is the current month and equals the current price (60 of 61 checked). Months without a price are null.
What is in the sold listings?▾
Up to 30 completed sales per condition, newest first: date, listing title, sold price, the marketplace (eBay, Goldin, Heritage, Fanatics) and a link to the item. For an eBay best-offer sale both the accepted price and the list price are returned. Use condition to get one grade, for example condition=PSA 10.
Why do search prices sometimes differ from product?▾
Search and console rows come from PriceCharting's list index, product reads the product page. On 18 prices compared across six categories 15 were identical; the 3 that differed were all on one new Pokémon card whose price was moving (61.67 in the list, 54.49 on the page). Use product for the current figure.
How many search results can I get?▾
PriceCharting returns at most 100 products for a search (200 when a category is chosen) and has no further pages; meta.possibly_truncated says when a search hit that limit. Narrow it with category, console_id or region, or list a whole console or set with console, which pages through every product 150 at a time.
Which currencies and markets?▾
Prices are in US dollars, the currency PriceCharting prices in; the same page read from different countries showed the same prices. Video games cover NTSC, PAL and Japanese releases (region filter). Sports cards are not part of pricecharting.com.
How do I find the id of a product?▾
Every search and console row carries id, the PriceCharting ID (3924 is Super Mario 64 on Nintendo 64). Pass it to product, price_history or sales as it is; a pricecharting.com/game/... link works too. Card products also return tcgplayer_id, and games UPC, ASIN and eBay ePID, to join with other sources.
What is the PriceCharting API?▾
PriceCharting API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for pricecharting's collectible price guide as json: the current market price for every condition and grade of a video game, pokémon, magic or yu-gi-oh! card, comic book, coin, funko pop or lego set, with the monthly price history and the sold listings behind it. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /pricecharting/v1.
Is the PriceCharting API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. PriceCharting calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a PriceCharting login or account?▾
No login to PriceCharting is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the PriceCharting data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the PriceCharting API use?▾
PriceCharting actions currently cost 2-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call PriceCharting from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call pricecharting actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
231 E-commerce & Marketplaces APIs on the same key
One key, one credit pool, one response envelope. If you are pulling PriceCharting, you are one call away from the rest of the category — no second contract, no second integration.
Need something this API does not do?
Name the endpoint, the field, or a source we do not carry yet. We ship new APIs every week and you would be first to get the key. Real people read every message and reply the same day.
Try it on your own data before you pay anything
The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 490 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-10-14.
