Croma API & Scraper

Croma's selling price depends on the delivery PIN code, so search, product and availability take one 6-digit PIN code and answer for it.

`search` returns 21 products per page for a query or a category id: the live selling price at that PIN code, MRP, discount percent, Croma's listing price with a mismatch flag, offer lines such as a bank discount or no-cost EMI, key features, brand, rating, review count, category ids and in how many Croma locations the product is stocked, with filters for category, brand, price band, discount band and express or home delivery, six sort orders and Croma's own facet counts. `product` takes the product_id from any search row and returns the price at the PIN code, the bank and card offers running on it (bank, credit or debit, minimum spend, validity), EAN, description, every specification group, images, colour and storage variants with their ids, breadcrumbs, warranty and rating. `availability` answers whether the product reaches that PIN code: the home-delivery date, the express-delivery date and the store that would ship it, and how many units each Croma store within 25 km holds for pickup. `stores` lists the stores near a PIN code and `reviews` returns the review text.

What a Croma field actually contains

Fields that read differently from how they look. Every row was measured against live Croma responses on 2026-10-14.

FieldWhat it holds
pincodeThe 6-digit PIN code the price is for. The same Croma 43 inch TV cost 24,990 rupees at 400049 (Mumbai), 560001 and 110001 and 21,990 at 799001 (Agartala); MRP stayed 29,000. A distant PIN code is not always cheaper: one product was 12,990 at 799001 and 12,690 at 400049.
price, price_index, price_mismatchprice is the live selling price at your PIN code, the same figure product returns (24 of 24 rows checked). price_index is the figure stored in Croma's search listing, which differed from the live price on 15 of 126 rows we checked (11.9 percent, in both directions, for example 84,999 listed against 74,490 live for one HP laptop); price_mismatch flags those rows. Croma sorts and builds its price bands from the listing figure, so with price_asc a few rows can look out of order by price.
mrp, discount_percent, discount_textMaximum retail price in rupees. discount_percent is computed from MRP and price (for example 5.86); discount_text is Croma's rounded label ("6%"). The printed price text matched the number on 20 of 20 reads, in both the lakh form "₹1,34,900" and the form "₹134,900.00".
bank_offersCard and bank offers Croma applies at payment for this product: title, bank, credit or debit card, minimum transaction and validity dates. Between 0 and 14 offers per product on the 12 products we read (11 of 12 had at least one).
stock_location_countIn how many Croma stores and warehouses the product is held across India. For the stores near one PIN code, availability gives the unit count per store; the two agreed on 32 of 32 Mumbai stores for an iPhone 17 Pro.
store_pickup[].unitsUnits a store holds for pickup right now, for example 15 at Croma Juhu and 13 at Santacruz West for one iPhone 17 Pro, across 30 of the 32 Mumbai stores within 25 km.
delivery_flagsProduct-level delivery modes from the product page. They are the same for every PIN code, including one with no Croma store nearby, so availability is the PIN-code answer.
review_count, rating_distributionreview_count is the product's true number of reviews. The star split is filled only when one page holds every review, because Croma computes it per page.

Prices do not depend on where the request comes from: four separate reads of three products at two PIN codes gave identical prices, MRPs and delivery answers.

searchSearch Croma's catalogue AS PRICED AT ONE PIN CODE: 21 products per page with the LIVE selling price, MRP and discount % at that PIN (from Croma's price service, the same figure `product` returns; the search index's own figure is kept as price_index and differences are flagged), offer lines (bank discount, NeuCard, no-cost EMI), key features, brand, rating, review count, category ids, whether any Croma store or warehouse holds stock and in how many locations, warranty, launch date. Filters: category, brand, price band, discount band, delivery mode (express / home); six sort orders. Returns the source's facet counts (categories with their ids, brands, price and discount bands, specification facets). `pincode` and at least one of `query` / `category` are required.Pricing teams call search to search Croma's catalogue AS PRICED AT ONE PIN CODE.pincode, query, category, brand, price_band, ...

FAQ

Questions developers ask before integrating

Do I need a Croma account?

No. Everything is read logged out: the prices, offers, delivery dates and store stock are what Croma shows any visitor who entered that PIN code.

Why is pincode required?

Because Croma prices change by region. The same product can be 24,990 rupees in Mumbai and 21,990 in Agartala, so the API never guesses a PIN code and echoes the one it used. A PIN code Croma does not price separately gets the national price.

Which filters are there, and do they work?

Each was checked against the unfiltered count in the same run. laptop (410): brand HP 72, price band 50,001-60,000 22, discount below 20 percent 176, express delivery 43. refrigerator (347): brand LG 71, home delivery 141. samsung (815): category 10 (mobile phones) 253, category 95 (Android phones) 219. headphones (631): two price bands together 252, discount 60-80 percent 159.

Is brand case-sensitive?

Croma's own brand filter is (HP matches, hp does not, and boAt is spelled that way). When a spelling returns nothing, the API matches it against the query's brand list and asks again with Croma's spelling, and says so in brand_resolved.

What happens when nothing matches?

You get 0 rows. Croma itself fills a no-match search with unrelated products (179 for a nonsense word); those are dropped and search_fallback is true. Typos are corrected by Croma and the correction is returned as spelling_suggestion.

Can I page through all results?

Yes. 21 products per page, up to last_page. laptop had 20 pages, the last with 11 products; pages after it are empty.

How do I check stock in a store?

Call stores to see the Croma stores near a PIN code (32 within 25 km of 400049, 36 of 560001, 46 of 110001), then availability with a product_id and the PIN code for units per store and the delivery dates.

How fresh is the data?

Every call reads Croma live; nothing is cached. In our two runs a search took 1.5 to 2.5 seconds (four calls, including the live price check), the median was 1.2 seconds for a product, 2.2 and 2.8 seconds for availability, 1.2 and 1.8 seconds for stores and 0.8 and 1.0 seconds for reviews.

What is the Croma API?

Croma API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for electronics prices by indian pin code, bank offers, delivery dates, per-store stock, specs and reviews from croma. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /croma/v1.

Is the Croma API free to try?

Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Croma calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.

Do I need a Croma login or account?

No login to Croma is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.

How fresh is the Croma data?

The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.

How many credits does the Croma API use?

Croma actions currently cost 1-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.

Can I call Croma from an AI assistant or MCP client?

Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call croma actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.

Built for volume
5M+ requests a day

Measured at 60 requests a second across the fleet, with no central bottleneck. Volume pricing is on request, and per-key limits are raised for high-volume accounts.

Missing a source?
We build it

Tell us a site we do not cover yet and it becomes an engine. A customer asked for bestprice.gr on a Sunday and it was in the catalog the next day.

Support
2 minute median reply

Median time from a question in the live chat to the first answer, measured across every answered conversation. Setup help included, no support tier to buy.

One key, one balance
Every API included

No per-site plans and no separate subscriptions. One key and one credit pool across the whole catalog, so adding a source costs nothing up front.

Planning something large? Tell us the volume and the sources and we will come back with what it costs and what we would have to build.
