What Japan's largest Magic shop sells a card for, how many it has, and what it pays for one
The Hareruya API turns hareruyamtg.com, Japan's largest Magic: The Gathering shop, into JSON in four actions.
4 active endpoints, on 2 and 3 credit tiers.
- POST/hareruya/v1/search
- POST/hareruya/v1/card
- POST/hareruya/v1/buylist
- POST/hareruya/v1/sets
What Hareruya endpoints does ReefAPI ship?
4 live read endpoints. Read-only data API: no writes, no account actions, no dashboard access on the target site.
Hareruya API
3 of 4 endpoints, ready to run
Every printing, language and condition of a card at Hareruya: yen price, live stock, weekly sales.
// Press "Try it" and this pane shows exactly what the // live site returned this second — including an empty // result, if that is the truth. No key, no account.
How the Hareruya API works
Hareruya is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 530 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
Buy and sell spread for one card at Hareruya
Two calls, from a card name to what Hareruya pays for it and what it sells the same printing for.
Every Lightning Bolt printing Hareruya buys, highest buy price first, each with its language, foil flag and product_id.
The same printing on the sale side: yen price and live stock for every language and condition.
The gap between Hareruya's buy price and its sale price for the same printing, both in yen, read from the live shop.

}How Hareruya names a product — and the fields it becomes
Hareruya sells each printing per language and per condition, and some expensive cards as individual copies with their own photo. The API keeps the shop's title and splits out what you filter on.
| on the shop | field | value |
|---|---|---|
| 《稲妻/Lightning Bolt》[4ED] 赤C | name, card_name, set_code | the title, Lightning Bolt, 4ED |
| 【JP】 / 【EN】 / 【FR】 | language | JP / EN / FR |
| 【NM 在庫:5】 | condition, stock | NM, 5 |
| SP ¥3,150 18 (other conditions) | other_conditions[] | {condition SP, price_jpy 3150, stock 18} |
| BGS8.5 (10317) | condition, single_copy, copy_code | BGS8.5, true, 10317 |
| 週間販売数 28点 | weekly_sales | 28 |
| 【買取価格】¥ 400 | buy_price_jpy (buylist only) | 400 |
Prices are yen as the shop prints them, with a thousands comma (¥1,000 = 1000), on the Japanese and the English site alike. The buylist quotes NM copies only.
What Hareruya publishes — measured 2026-10-15
Hareruya runs one Magic: The Gathering shop with a Japanese and an English site and a buylist. These are the numbers and limits measured on the live site.
300,934 priced products on 2026-10-15, filed under 422 sets.
Yen price, live stock, weekly sales, language, foil, condition, the other conditions of the same printing, set code, English and Japanese title, image.
Type, mana cost, rules text, flavor text, rarity, set, illustrator, legal formats, in Japanese or English.
NM buy price in yen per language and foil; 123 Lightning Bolt printings on 2026-10-15, 60 a page.
1 to 100 rows a page on search; the shop's search reaches the first 4,000 rows of any result.
Price history, physical-store stock, buylist prices for conditions other than NM, and a dollar price.
What people build with Hareruya
The jobs this data is most often used for.
endpoints
credits per call
Price a collection in yen: search each card and read the NM price and the SP/MP/HP prices of the same printing.
Buy and sell spread: buylist for a card, then card on the same product_id for Hareruya's sale price and stock.
Track Japanese-language printings: search with language=jp for the copies only a Japanese shop stocks.
Watch a new set: search with its set_id and sort=price_desc every day.
What Hareruya data costs
The cheapest call here is 2 credits, so $15/mo (Pro) buys 5,000 of them — $1.50 per 1,000 credits. Credits roll over and never expire, and failed or blocked calls are not charged.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up Hareruya.
Get a free key →Is the stock number live?▾
Yes. stock is the number the shop's product list shows at the time of the call, the same figure as on the product page. Hareruya's search index carries its own stock-like number that is not the stock (it agreed with the live figure on 101 of 271 rows we compared), so the API never returns that one.
Is the buylist price the price I pay?▾
No. buylist returns buy_price_jpy, what Hareruya pays you for a card in NM condition (買取価格). The sale price is price_jpy on search and card. A buylist row's product_id works in card, so you get the sale price and stock of the same printing in one more call.
How do languages and conditions work?▾
Each search row is one printing in one language in one condition, usually NM, with the other conditions (SP, MP, HP) of the same printing in other_conditions. card lists every language and condition of a printing, including individual copies of expensive cards (graded slabs, inked or damaged copies) that have their own price and a stock of 1.
Are prices in yen or dollars?▾
Yen, always. The English site shows the same yen prices, and they do not change with the visitor's country: the same pages read from Japan, the United States and Germany in the same minute gave identical prices and stock.
How do I list a whole set?▾
Call sets to get the set ids (10 is Fourth Edition), then search with set_id and no query. set_id also narrows a name search and the buylist.
How far can I page?▾
Up to 100 rows a page. meta.total is the shop's own count; the shop's search reaches the first 4,000 rows of any result, so meta.last_page stops there and meta.total_capped says when a result is larger. Narrow a large result with set_id, language, rarity or a price range.
Can I search by the exact card name?▾
Yes: card_name takes the exact English card name (Lightning Bolt, 117 products) and returns every printing of it. It is case-sensitive; rows carry card_name, so copying it from a row always works. query is a looser text search in English or Japanese.
What is the Hareruya API?▾
Hareruya API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for hareruya (晴れる屋) magic: the gathering prices as json: what japan's largest mtg shop sells a card for in each language and condition, how many it has right now, and what it pays for one (買取). It returns live JSON through POST requests under /hareruya/v1.
Is the Hareruya API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Hareruya calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Hareruya login or account?▾
No login to Hareruya is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Hareruya data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Hareruya API use?▾
Hareruya actions currently cost 2-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Hareruya from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call hareruya actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
Is the Hareruya API a Hareruya scraper?▾
It is the managed alternative to a DIY Hareruya scraper. Instead of building and maintaining your own scraper — proxies, headless browsers, captcha and constant breakage — you call one ReefAPI endpoint and get the same hareruya (晴れる屋) magic: the gathering prices as json: what japan's largest mtg shop sells a card for in each language and condition, how many it has right now, and what it pays for one (買取) back as clean JSON.

Need something this API does not do?
Name the endpoint, the field, or a source we do not carry yet. We ship new APIs every week and you would be first to get the key. Real people read every message and reply the same day.
Try it on your own data before you pay anything
The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 529 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-10-15.
