What gebrauchtwagen.at endpoints does ReefAPI ship?
4 live read endpoints. Read-only data API: no writes, no account actions, no dashboard access on the target site.
gebrauchtwagen.at API
3 of 4 endpoints, ready to run
Cars for sale in Austria with the filters the site applies itself: make, model, price, first registration, mileage, power, fuel, gearbox, body, seller type and postcode radius.
// Press "Try it" and this pane shows exactly what the // live site returned this second — including an empty // result, if that is the truth. No key, no account.
How the gebrauchtwagen.at API works
gebrauchtwagen.at is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 491 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
Price a used Golf in Austria
Three calls. Names and ids come from the site's own lists, so no filter is a guess, and every price on the way is the same kind of number.
Volkswagen's models with ids: Golf is 2084. makes gives the make ids.
The comparable set — 505 diesel Golfs from 2018 on 2026-10-14 before the mileage cap. Skip rows with price_is_symbolic.
The car in full, with the site's price rating: which price band it falls in and the market median for comparable cars.
A like-for-like set of Austrian Golfs with advertised prices, the site's own market median for comparison, and the seller behind each car.

}What one Austrian car listing returns
Real listings read on 2026-10-14. Each value on the right matched the listing's own page: price, first registration, kW, PS, make and model agreed on 12 of 12 cars across six searches.
| car | what the page shows | price / price_net · vat_rate | price_rating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Volkswagen Golf TDI SCR, 08/2020, 63,769 km, dealer in Tyrol | € 14 990 | 14990 / null · null | band 2 of 0-6, median 16,500 |
| VAT-deductible dealer car | € 103 900 | 103900 / 86583 · 20 | band 1 |
| Cheapest Skoda by price | € 10 | 10, price_is_symbolic: true | — |
price is the advertised consumer price the page prints. Where a dealer can issue a VAT invoice the listing carries vat_deductible: true and, on 3 of the 6 such cars checked, a net price — always the gross divided by 1.20 to the euro. The Austrian registration tax (NoVA) is not published by the source, so there is no NoVA field.
What gebrauchtwagen.at publishes — measured 2026-10-14
The site lists cars located in Austria from dealers and private sellers. These are the numbers and limits measured on the live source.
136,687 cars located in Austria: 104,226 from dealers, 32,459 from private sellers; 9,804 electric, 12,584 new, 4,274 put online in the last day. 300 makes.
price is the advertised price; listings add vat_deductible, vat_rate and, where the dealer publishes it, price_net (3 of 6 VAT-deductible cars checked). Price, first registration, kW, PS, make and model matched the listing's own page on 12 of 12 cars.
Price, make, model, fuel, gearbox, town, postcode, seller and photo on every row. First registration on every row of the five used-car searches; on new cars it is empty (1 of 20). Company name on dealer rows only.
4,000 rows per query, up to 20 per page (17 when sorted). The total is exact.
NoVA (Austrian registration tax), a Bundesland field, a net price on search rows, and a net price on about half of the VAT-deductible listings.
What people build with gebrauchtwagen.at
The jobs this data is most often used for.
endpoints
credits per call
Price a used car in Austria: one make and model, a first-registration window and a mileage band, drop price_is_symbolic rows, and read the site's own price rating and market median on any listing.
Watch new stock: online_since_days=1 with a make or a postcode radius returns what went online in the last day — 4,274 cars on 2026-10-14.
Build a dealer's inventory feed: seller_id returns one dealer's whole stock, every row with price, specs and photos.
Separate B2B stock: vat_deductible=true returns the cars whose dealer issues a VAT invoice, with net price and VAT rate on the listing.

Get a free key →Which cars are included?▾
Every car the site lists as located in Austria: 136,687 on 2026-10-14, 104,226 from dealers and 32,459 from private sellers. Search results never leave Austria. If you need cars located in Germany, Italy or elsewhere in Europe, that is a different market.
Is the price gross or net?▾
price is the advertised price as the page prints it, the price a private buyer pays. When the dealer can issue a VAT invoice, the listing says vat_deductible: true with vat_rate (20 in every case measured) and, where the dealer publishes it, price_net. On 3 of 6 VAT-deductible cars checked a net price was published, and it was the gross divided by 1.20 to the euro each time. Search rows carry the gross only, plus the site's own 'inkl. MwSt.' label when the dealer set one.
Is the Austrian registration tax (NoVA) included or shown?▾
The source does not publish NoVA separately anywhere: not in the search results, not on the listing. price is the advertised price; whether a dealer's price includes NoVA is the dealer's statement in the description, not a field.
Why do some cars cost 10 euros?▾
Some sellers type a placeholder instead of a price, and the site prints it. Sorted by price ascending, the first rows are 1, 10 and 50 euros. Those rows come back as published with price_is_symbolic: true (any price of 100 euros or less), so you can drop them from an average without losing the listing. A real 'price on request' comes back as price null with price_on_request: true.
How many results can one search return?▾
Up to 4,000 rows per query, at most 20 per page, and 17 per page when you sort. The total itself is exact (meta.total), so a broad search tells you how many cars match even when you cannot page through all of them; narrow with filters to reach the rest. A request past the 4,000th row is refused with a message that names the last reachable page.
How do I search one make and model?▾
Pass make and model as the site writes them in its addresses (make=volkswagen&model=golf, make=mercedes-benz), or make_id and model_id from the makes and models actions (Volkswagen is 74, Golf 2084). Both return the same 2,800 Golfs. Umlauts are written out (Käfer becomes kaefer). An unknown name is refused rather than quietly returning the whole market.
Can I filter by Bundesland?▾
No. The source has no state field and no state filter: its regional pages are a 200 km radius around a city. Use zip with radius_km (10 to 400 km) for a real distance search; zip=1010 with radius_km=20 returned 20,144 cars around central Vienna.
How fast is it?▾
One request to the source per call. Over two identical runs of 44 calls, every call returned what it should; the median search took 2.2 to 2.7 seconds and the median listing 2.1 to 3.6 seconds, with occasional slow searches up to 23 seconds.
What is the gebrauchtwagen.at API?▾
gebrauchtwagen.at API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for austria's car market as json: about 136,700 used and new cars for sale in austria, with price, first registration, mileage, kw and ps, fuel, gearbox, the price rating and the dealer or private seller behind every car. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /gebrauchtwagen-at/v1.
Is the gebrauchtwagen.at API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. gebrauchtwagen.at calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a gebrauchtwagen.at login or account?▾

How fresh is the gebrauchtwagen.at data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the gebrauchtwagen.at API use?▾
gebrauchtwagen.at actions currently cost 1-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call gebrauchtwagen.at from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
