How the Liverpool API works
Liverpool is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 491 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.

}What a Liverpool field actually contains
Fields that read differently from how they look. Every row was measured against live liverpool.com.mx pages on 2026-10-14.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| product_id | Liverpool's product id, the number at the end of a product address (…/tienda/pdp/…/1183307572). Pass it unchanged to product and reviews; a product URL works too. Search to product returned the same id on 16 of 16 rows. |
| list_price, promo_price | list_price is the struck price (precio de lista); promo_price is the bold price Liverpool shows. On 14 of 14 products promo_price equalled the price printed on the product page, and the second printed number matched list_price, or on multi-variant items the top of the price range, on 14 of 14. |
| sale_price (product only) | Liverpool's selling price before payment promotions; the page never prints it. One 50-inch TV: list 11,499, sale 8,570, promotion 6,427.50 MXN. It is given per variant; on multi-variant items the product-level figure is null because Liverpool's own product-level value belongs to one variant only. |
| promo_price_max, price_is_range | Items with variants priced differently carry a range: promo_price is the lowest (Liverpool's "desde"), promo_price_max the highest. product lists each variant with its own price. |
| liverpool_card_promotions, other_card_promotions | The payment options Liverpool lists under Tarjetas Liverpool and Otras tarjetas: discount percent, months without interest, monthly payment and the total you pay. The monthly payment and months Liverpool prints on the page matched on 4 of 4 products. Marketplace offers carry none. |
| offers | Marketplace sellers offering the variant: seller id and name, seller rating, days to ship, and the offer's own prices. A perfume had two offers, 1,049 and 1,780 MXN, for the same bottle. |
| sold_by (search) | The seller names Liverpool's search index holds for the item. It can include Liverpool group banners (suburbia, toysrus) and sellers that have since left: it differed from the product's current offers on 3 of 16 products. product.sold_by is the current list. |
| delivery | With postal_code, Liverpool's own estimate: date_from and date_to. It changes with the postal code (11000: Oct 21-25, 64000: Oct 23-27 for the same TV) and not with where the request comes from. available false means Liverpool shows no date for that postal code or item. |
| sponsored | True on paid placements. Liverpool adds 0 to 3 of them per page, and they take the place of regular results; use next_offset to page without missing rows. |
All prices are Mexican pesos (MXN). Search lists in-stock items only, as Liverpool's own search does. Prices and promotions were identical when read from inside and outside Mexico (99 of 99 search rows, 3 of 3 products).
Liverpool coverage, measured
Every number below was read from live liverpool.com.mx responses on 2026-10-14, in two separate runs of 79 calls each, 79 of 79 answered as expected in both.
Mexico, prices in MXN. "televisor" matched 2,314 in-stock products, "vestido" 10,912, "perfume" about 10,300, category Electrónica 25,700.
"televisor" 2,314 → Samsung 288, 5,000-10,000 MXN 274, up to 1,000 MXN 1,187, 30 % off or more 1,537, rated 4.5 or more 302, sold by Liverpool 225, gift with purchase 12, category Pantallas 417; one marketplace seller cut "perfume" to 505.
The promotion price matched the price printed on the product page on 14 of 14 products, the struck or range price on 14 of 14, and the printed months-without-interest plan on 4 of 4. Search and product agreed on list and promotion price on 15 of 16 products in both runs; the 16th had a promotion that started after Liverpool's search index was built, and product returned the new price.
Search to product returned the same product id on 16 of 16 rows, and the row's SKU was one of the product's variants on 16 of 16.
Prices and promotions were identical read from inside and outside Mexico (99 of 99 search rows, 3 of 3 products). Delivery dates depend only on the postal code you pass.
Search lists in-stock items only; up to 120 products per call; Liverpool inserts 0-3 sponsored rows per page; the search index's seller list can lag the product page (3 of 16); no category tree; some marketplace items get no delivery date, as on Liverpool's own page.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up Liverpool.
Get a free key →Do I need a Liverpool account?▾
No. Everything is read logged out, and you call reefapi.com from anywhere.
Which price should I use?▾
promo_price is what Liverpool shows as the price; list_price is the struck price before discount. For what a buyer pays with a card in instalments, read liverpool_card_promotions and other_card_promotions on each variant in product.
Do you return meses sin intereses?▾
Yes. Each variant lists the instalment plans Liverpool offers, for example 9 months without interest of 761.78 MXN on a 50-inch TV, with the discount and the total, separately for Liverpool cards and for other cards.
Which search filters are there?▾
Brand, price range, minimum discount, minimum rating, sold by Liverpool, marketplace seller id, gift with purchase and category. Each was checked against the unfiltered count in the same run: "televisor" 2,314 → Samsung 288, 5,000-10,000 MXN 274, from 20,000 MXN 143, up to 1,000 MXN 1,187, 30 % off or more 1,537, rated 4.5 or more 302, sold by Liverpool 225, gift with purchase 12, category Pantallas 417.
How do I page through all results?▾
Pass next_offset from each answer as offset in the next call. Up to 120 products per call; a search for "vestido" counted 10,912 products.
Can I see stock in a physical store?▾
Yes. store_stock takes a variant's sku_id and a Mexican state (01-32 or its name) and returns each Liverpool store with units in stock, address, hours and click-and-collect. One TV had stock in 14 stores of the Mexico City area.
Why do some searches return a category?▾
Liverpool sends some words, such as brand names, to a landing page. The API follows it and says so in redirected_to: "lego" returned the 598 products of the Lego category.
What is not returned?▾
Out-of-stock items in search, a category tree, questions and answers, and delivery dates for items where Liverpool's own page shows none.
What is the Liverpool API?▾
Liverpool API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for mexico's largest department store and marketplace: list, sale and promotion price, liverpool-card and other-card offers with months without interest, sellers, delivery dates, store stock and reviews. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /liverpool/v1.
Is the Liverpool API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Liverpool calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Liverpool login or account?▾
No login to Liverpool is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Liverpool data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Liverpool API use?▾
Liverpool actions currently cost 1-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Liverpool from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call liverpool actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.

The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 490 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-10-14.
