Every copy of a Turkish book across 1,100 booksellers, with price, condition and the shop behind it
Nadirkitap is Turkey's marketplace for second-hand and rare books, where about 1,100 independent booksellers (sahaf) list books, old magazines and ephemera such as postcards, posters, stamps, coins and records.

How the Nadirkitap API works
Nadirkitap is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 438 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
From a title to the cheapest good copy and the shop that has it
Find the edition, list every copy of it, read the one worth buying in full, then look at the bookshop.
Atay&sort=price_asc
Copies with price, condition, publisher, year, stock and the bookseller's name, success rate and transactions. category_facets gives live counts per category.
The copy in full: ISBN, pages, binding, language, place, the seller's description, images, carrier, dispatch time and shipping price.
Every live copy of that edition across booksellers, cheapest first, with the lowest and highest price and the number of sellers.
The bookshop: city, success rate, transactions, how many books and collectibles it lists and its running campaign.
A priced view of one Turkish edition across the second-hand market: each copy's condition and price in lira, the cheapest acceptable copy, and the bookshops behind them.

}What a Nadirkitap field actually contains
Fields that read differently from how they look. Every row was measured against live Nadirkitap pages on 2026-10-07.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| A row is a copy, not a book | Nadirkitap lists copies. The same edition appears once per bookseller who has it: ISBN 978-605-9350-97-6 (Gençler İçin Nutuk) had 13 copies from 11 sellers, priced 5 to 140 TL. offers groups them for you. |
| price_try and original_price_try | price_try is the price the page charges. When a bookseller runs a discount, the page strikes the old price through: that one is original_price_try. Example: a book printed as 2.312,31 TL struck and 2.081,08 TL payable. |
| ld_price_try | The price in the page's structured data. On discounted copies it is the struck price, not the one you pay (2 of 13 sampled listings). Use price_try. |
| condition and condition_stars | The bookseller's grade as the site prints it: Yeni (new), Yeni Gibi, Çok İyi, İyi and lower, with the star count shown next to it (5 to 1). New copies carry no stars. |
| type | book, magazine or ephemera, from the listing's own category. Ephemera (postcards, stamps, coins, posters) have no publisher, language, binding or ISBN on Nadirkitap, so those fields are null for them. |
| description | The bookseller's own note on the copy (damage, inscription, completeness). Null when the seller wrote none: 5 of 13 sampled listings had one. |
| seller | The bookshop's name, link, success rate (Başarı oranı, %) and transaction count as printed beside the copy. 5 of 100 book rows came from shops that publish no rate yet; those fields are null. |
| total and total_capped | Nadirkitap counts up to 10,000 results. A broader query reads 10,000 and total_capped is true: "divan" showed 10,000 while its own category counts added up to 21,457. |
| shipping | Who pays shipping, the carrier, the dispatch estimate (for example "1 günde kargoya verilir") and the bookseller's single-item and multi-item shipping price in TL. |
A plain query matches title and author together. As soon as you add a filter the query is matched against the title only, and the answer says so in meta.warnings.
Nadirkitap coverage, measured
Every number below was read from live Nadirkitap pages on 2026-10-07, in two consecutive runs of 58 calls each.
Turkey, prices in Turkish lira. Books, magazines and ephemera from about 1,100 booksellers; one bookshop alone listed 9,870 books and 13 collectibles, another 25,150 books and 10,133 collectibles.
tutunamayanlar 452 copies → 500-5,000 TL 195, Edebiyat 402, hardcover 10, published 1970-1990 57; Sait Faik 5,271 → first edition 233, new 1,430, signed 4, fine binding 79, Yapı Kredi 681; divan → Ottoman Turkish 875.
ISBN 978-605-9350-97-6 returned 13 copies from 11 booksellers, priced 5 to 140 TL.
On 196 search rows across books, magazines and ephemera: title, price, condition, stock and seller 196/196; seller success rate 191/196. On 9 full book listings: author, publisher, year, language, binding, size, shipping 9/9; pages 8/9; ISBN 6/9; seller description 3/9.
Search price, struck price, seller, title, condition and stock matched the listing page on 10 of 10 copies in both runs (80 of 80 values), across books, magazines, ephemera and Ottoman Turkish titles.
The first 10,000 results of any search, and the count stops at 10,000. Sold copies are removed by the site and return NOT_FOUND. Ephemera carry no edition fields. Response time: median about 2 seconds per call.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up Nadirkitap.
Get a free key →Do I need a Nadirkitap account?▾
No. Everything is read logged out, and you call reefapi.com from anywhere.
How do I find every copy of one book?▾
Call offers with the ISBN, or with the id of any listing that shows one. You get each copy's price, condition, stock and seller, cheapest first, plus the lowest and highest price and how many different booksellers have it. 6 of 9 sampled book listings published an ISBN; for the rest search by title and author.
Can I search Ottoman Turkish books or first editions?▾
Yes. language=2 is Osmanlıca: "divan" went from 10,000 results to 875. first_edition=true narrowed Sait Faik from 5,271 copies to 233, signed=true to 4.
Are magazines and collectibles included?▾
Yes, with type=magazine or type=ephemera. Ephemera categories include stamps (247), postcards and photos (249), coins and medals (248), posters (252) and records (288).
How deep can I page?▾
Up to the 10,000th result of any search: 417 pages of 24 with filters, 358 pages of 28 for a plain query. Beyond that Nadirkitap shows nothing, so we stop and tell you the last page. Filters get you to the rest.
Is the price the price a buyer pays?▾
price_try is what the page charges for the copy. Shipping is extra and usually paid by the buyer: listing returns the bookseller's shipping price, for example 129 TL for one book and 139 TL for two or more.
Can I list everything one bookshop sells?▾
Yes. Every row carries seller_id. seller returns the shop page with its book and collectible counts (one shop: 9,870 books and 13 collectibles), and search with seller_id pages through its whole stock.
What happens with a sold copy?▾
Nadirkitap removes it. listing returns NOT_FOUND for a copy that is no longer for sale or never existed.
What is the Nadirkitap API?▾
Nadirkitap API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for turkey's second-hand and rare book marketplace: every copy with its price, condition, edition and the bookseller offering it. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /nadirkitap/v1.
Is the Nadirkitap API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Nadirkitap calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Nadirkitap login or account?▾
No login to Nadirkitap is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Nadirkitap data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Nadirkitap API use?▾
Nadirkitap actions currently cost 2-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Nadirkitap from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call nadirkitap actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
