SS.com (also reached at ss.lv) is where Latvia sells cars, rents flats, hires and sells almost everything else, and this API reads it as JSON.

`search` finds adverts by text across every section; `browse` pages through one category exactly as the site lists it, with the category's own columns - model, year, engine and mileage for a car, street, rooms, m², floor, building series and price per m² for a flat - and the category's own filters; `listing` returns one advert in full; `categories` walks the section tree and returns the filter vocabulary each category offers. Every row carries the advert id that listing accepts as it is, SS.com's own advert number, the canonical URL, the price in EUR (with the rent period when there is one), the region and the photo. A full advert adds the seller's whole text, every attribute, the car equipment list, every photo, map coordinates for property, the posting time, the number of unique visits and the seller block: company name, address, working hours, logo, the part of the phone number the site prints, and how many adverts run on the same phone. Measured on 2026-10-07: 73 pages of BMW adverts (60 a page), 55 pages of flats in central Riga, 11 pages of results for `iphone 13`.
What an SS.com field actually contains
Six fields that need one sentence of context. Every row was checked against live SS.com pages on 2026-10-07.

Measured limits: text search stops at 50 pages (1,500 adverts) per query and says so with last_page_is_cap; SS.com publishes no total count, only its own last page; page size is the source's (60 on car makes, 30 elsewhere); asking past the last page returns zero rows with page_clamped instead of repeating page 1.

Questions developers ask before integrating
Do I need an account or a Latvian IP to use the SS.com API?
No. Search, category lists and adverts are read without an account or a login, and you call reefapi.com from anywhere.
Is ss.lv the same site as ss.com?
Yes. ss.lv and ss.com serve the same adverts, and the API accepts advert URLs from either domain.
Which languages are supported?
English, Latvian and Russian (lang = en, lv, ru). The language changes the site's own labels - category names, column titles, attribute names, deal type. The advert text is always the seller's own words, usually Latvian or Russian.
How do I filter cars by price or year, or flats by rooms?
Call categories on the category you want: it returns the filter keys that category's own form offers, such as price_min, price_max, year_min, gearbox and fuel_type for a car make, or rooms_min, area_max, floor_min and series for flats. Pass them to browse. Each filter is checked on the returned page; measured: BMW adverts went from 73 pages to 5 with price_max 3000 and to 25 with year_min 2015, with no row outside the limit.
Can I get only new adverts?
Yes. browse takes period = today, 2days or 5days. On 2026-10-07 central Riga had 60 flats posted that day, 309 in two days and 460 in five, and categories returns those counts for any category.
How many results can one search return?
SS.com stops a text search at 50 pages of 30, so 1,500 adverts. Broad words such as golf or bmw hit that ceiling; the response sets last_page_is_cap so you know to narrow the query or switch to browse, which pages a whole category.
Can I get the seller's full phone number?
No. SS.com itself prints only the first digits and reveals the rest after an 'I'm not a robot' check. You get the printed part, the company name, address, working hours and logo when the seller is a business, and how many adverts run on the same phone.
What does SS.com not publish?
No total result count (only the last page), no seller rating, no full phone number, VIN or registration plate without the robot check, and no coordinates outside property adverts. Those come back as null rather than guessed.
What is the SS.com API?
SS.com API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for latvia's biggest classifieds site: cars, flats, jobs and electronics in eur, with full adverts and seller details. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /ss-lv/v1.
Is the SS.com API free to try?
