How the ALDI US API works
ALDI US is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 585 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.

}What an ALDI US field actually contains
Fields that read differently from how they look, measured on live responses on 2026-10-18.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| price, price_display | The price at the chosen store for the chosen service_type. With delivery it matched the price printed on the aldi.us product page for 15 of 15 products. |
| service_type | delivery, pickup or in_store. The same 2% milk at the St. Charles, IL store: delivery and pickup $2.85, in_store $2.55. |
| store, store_defaulted | The ALDI store that priced the response (id, name, street, city). store_defaulted is true when you gave neither postal_code nor store_id. |
| was_price, discount_percent | The struck-through price on reduced items and the discount computed from the two prices; null when the item is not reduced. |
| unit_price_text | The unit price as aldi.us prints it ("$0.02/fl oz", "$3.99 / lb"). For items sold by weight, price is the estimated package price and price_is_estimate is true. |
| stock_level, likely_out_of_stock | many_in_stock, in_stock, likely_out_of_stock or out_of_stock for that store. A "Likely out of stock" item can still show available: true. |
| matches_query | Whether the row shares a word with your search. aldi.us fills a search that matches nothing with unrelated products; such pages are dropped and counted in unmatched_dropped. |
| product_id | ALDI's product id on aldi.us, the same across stores; item_id is store-specific. |
Prices differ between stores: 2% milk (1 gal) delivery price was $2.85 in St. Charles IL, $3.69 in Burbank CA, $2.75 in Dallas and $2.89 in New York on the same day.
ALDI US coverage, measured
Every number was read from live responses on 2026-10-18: 75 calls across all seven actions and 13 ZIP codes in 11 states.
15 of 15 products: the delivery price matched the price printed on the aldi.us product page (milk, chicken, coffee, bread).
in_store differed from delivery on 31 of 42 products at one store; pickup equalled delivery there.
72 stores around 10001, 61 around 75201, 52 around 33101, 50 around 90210; none around 99501 (Anchorage).
Weekly Ad 135-185 products per store; ALDI Finds 10/14 143-210; upcoming 10/21 354-355; Price Drops 158-175.
The site re-ranked between calls (two products repeated across page 2 and 3 by page number). With next_cursor: 3 pages twice for 5 lists across 4 shops, no product repeated.
Across 438 rows: price, size, image and stock level on all; brand 393; unit price 362; was-price 35.
No sorting or filters beyond store and price list; no stock counts, only a stock level; product reviews are not returned.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up ALDI US.
Get a free key →Does ALDI US have a public API?▾
No public product API. This API reads what aldi.us shows a logged-out visitor and returns it as JSON. No account is needed.
Why do I need a ZIP code?▾
ALDI prices on aldi.us are set per store. The same gallon of milk was $2.75 to $3.69 across four stores on one day. Pass postal_code or store_id; without them a fixed default store is used and store_defaulted is true.
Are these the prices in the store?▾
aldi.us shows three price lists per store. delivery (the default) is what its product pages print, and pickup was the same at the stores we checked. in_store is the list aldi.us uses for its In-store shopping mode; it was lower than delivery on 31 of 42 products, usually by about 10 percent.
Can I get the ALDI Weekly Ad and ALDI Finds?▾
Yes. offers with type weekly_ad returns the current Weekly Ad ("Weekly Ad Oct 14 - Oct 20", 135 to 185 products depending on the store), aldi_finds returns this week's ALDI Finds, upcoming_aldi_finds next Wednesday's list, and price_drops the Price Drops collection. promotions lists all four with their dates and product counts.
How do I find ALDI stores near a ZIP code?▾
Call stores with postal_code. Around 10001 (New York) it returned 72 stores, nearest first, with address, coordinates, distance in miles and whether each offers in-store shopping, pickup or delivery. Use a store_id in any other call to price at that store.
How do I browse a category?▾
Call categories for the departments (Fresh Produce, Dairy & Eggs, Frozen Foods ...) and the ALDI brand and diet collections, categories with department=dairy-and-eggs for that department's collections, then category with a slug such as n-milk-33852.
Does search return everything aldi.us finds?▾
Yes, in aldi.us's own order, 20 per page by default (up to 40). cheese returned 287 products. The site can re-rank its list between two calls, so reading by page number can repeat or skip a product; follow next_cursor from each answer for a complete scan: it never returns a product twice and fills the page from the rest of the list.
How fresh is the data?▾
Every call reads aldi.us live; nothing is cached on our side.
What is the ALDI US API?▾
ALDI US API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for aldi.us prices as json per store: search, categories, the weekly ad, aldi finds, price drops and the store locator, with delivery, pickup or in-store prices. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /aldi-us/v1.
Is the ALDI US API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. ALDI US calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need an ALDI US login or account?▾
No login to ALDI US is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the ALDI US data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the ALDI US API use?▾
ALDI US actions currently cost 2-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call ALDI US from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call aldi-us actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.

One key, one credit pool, one response envelope. If you are pulling ALDI US, you are one call away from the rest of the category — no second contract, no second integration.
Need something this API does not do?
Name the endpoint, the field, or a source we do not carry yet. We ship new APIs every week and you would be first to get the key. Real people read every message and reply the same day.
Try it on your own data before you pay anything
The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 584 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-10-18.
