Namshi API
3 of 3 endpoints, ready to run
Search one namshi storefront by keyword and get the matching products: namshi product id, title, brand, images, the price the shopper actually pays together with the struck-through price and the discount percentage, the market and currency the price is quoted in, rating and review count where namshi publishes them, and the express / global / outlet flags. Filter by brand, colour, price band, discounted-only, new arrivals and delivery programme; sort by namshi's ranking, price, discount or newest. The response also carries namshi's whole facet catalogue with counts, so the next call can be narrowed without guessing codes.

How the Namshi API works
Namshi is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 321 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
Pick the market first, because the same product is a different price in a different currency
Namshi runs six Gulf storefronts. The same item carries a different figure in each, in that country's own currency, and the number a shopper sees on the page is the one that matters.
{"query": "abaya", "market": "kw"}1 credit for sixty rows. price is what a Kuwaiti shopper sees, in Kuwaiti dinar, and currency says so on every row. Change market and the figures and the currency change with it.
{"query": "abaya", "market": "ae", "sort": "price_low_to_high"}1 credit. Sorts are the site's own codes. A sort value Namshi does not know makes it return its whole catalogue, so an unknown sort is refused rather than passed through.
{"category": "<path from the search response>", "market": "sa"}1 credit. A whole department in one market, with the same rows and the same currency rule.
{"sku": "<from any row>", "market": "ae"}1 credit. The full product with its size variants. A sold-out size quotes its own stale price, so read availability alongside the figure rather than instead of it.
Six markets you can compare honestly, because each figure is the one that market publishes rather than one converted on our side.

}Six Gulf markets, six currencies, and a conversion trap that cost three point two times
Measured 2026-09-30 against the live gateway across four markets and 236 rows, then re-checked against the figures Namshi prints. Three of these lines go against us.
The UAE in dirham, Saudi Arabia in riyal, Kuwait in dinar, Bahrain in dinar, Oman in rial and Qatar in riyal. All six were exercised, and across 236 measured rows the currency matched the market on every single one. Arabic is available alongside English on the same storefronts.
This matters more here than on most sources. Namshi's own store quotes the UAE and Saudi Arabia in their local currencies but quotes Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar in US dollars, and the page converts before it prints. Reading the store figure directly and labelling it with the local currency made four of the six markets wrong by roughly three point two times, with every field filled and nothing obviously broken: a Kuwaiti abaya that prints as 15.58 dinar came back as 50.26. The engine now measures the conversion on the page itself and requires it to land on a rate the page publishes, refusing the record rather than guessing when it does not.
Namshi filters on the store's own scale, and that scale is only knowable by reading a page first. In the UAE and Saudi Arabia a filtered search is a single request; in Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar it is two. You are charged the same either way; the extra cost is ours.
A sort value Namshi does not recognise answers with its entire catalogue of 386,656 rows and a wildcard query, as though that were a result. Unknown sorts are refused with an invalid parameter, and the response echo is checked as a second guard. The same shape of trap as a dropped filter, and it is caught the same way.
Namshi returns a normal HTTP 200 for a product that no longer exists, so a not-found is decided on whether the page is actually complete rather than on its status code. That means a removed product is reported as not found and never as the site blocking us.
Namshi publishes an aggregate rating for a minority of its catalogue. Across 236 rows, 84 carried one; the rest come back null rather than zero, which would place unrated items below every rated one in a sort. The struck original and the discount were on 205 of 236, because not everything is marked down.
Searching a brand name answers with a redirect to that brand's own landing page rather than with search results. The engine follows it once and reports that it did, along with where it landed, so a caller can tell a keyword result from a landing page.
No seller, no barcode, no review feed and no size filter. Namshi's size facets are per category and per sizing standard at once, so a single size handle cannot work across the catalogue; the full facet catalogue with its codes and counts is returned instead so a caller can build the filter that fits their category.
Across 829 rows on fourteen keywords, every row came back as organic: Namshi's storefront carries no sponsored marker at all. That is reported as the source publishes it rather than inferred from position.
1 credit for a search of sixty rows, a category page or a product record. This engine needs no browser and no residential vantage point; it reads from an ordinary datacentre exit, which is why it is priced at the low end.
What people build with Namshi
The jobs this data is most often used for.
endpoints
credit per call
Pricing and assortment teams use Namshi to search one namshi storefront by keyword and get the matching products.
Brand-protection teams use Namshi to list one namshi category by its path.
Retail analysts use Namshi to get the full namshi product record for one product in one market.
What Namshi data costs
The cheapest call here is 1 credit, so $15/mo (Pro) buys 10,000 of them — $1.50 per 1,000 credits. Credits roll over and never expire, and failed or blocked calls are not charged.

Get a free key →What is the Namshi API?▾
Namshi API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for namshi It returns live JSON through POST requests under /namshi/v1.
Is the Namshi API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Namshi calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Namshi login or account?▾
No login to Namshi is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Namshi data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Namshi API use?▾
Namshi actions currently cost 1 credit per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Namshi from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call namshi actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
Is the Namshi API a Namshi scraper?▾
It is the managed alternative to a DIY Namshi scraper. Instead of building and maintaining your own scraper — proxies, headless browsers, captcha and constant breakage — you call one ReefAPI endpoint and get the same namshi back as clean JSON.
Why does my Namshi scraper keep getting blocked?▾
Most Namshi scrapers break on anti-bot defenses, rate limits and IP bans that need rotating residential proxies and browser fingerprinting to clear. ReefAPI handles all of that for you — no proxies, no captchas, no maintenance — and returns live JSON. Blocked calls are free.
26 More APIs APIs on the same key
One key, one credit pool, one response envelope. If you are pulling Namshi, you are one call away from the rest of the category — no second contract, no second integration.
Need something this API does not do?
Name the endpoint, the field, or a source we do not carry yet. We ship new APIs every week and you would be first to get the key. Real people read every message and reply the same day.
Try it on your own data before you pay anything
The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 320 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-09-30.
