CVS Pharmacy API
3 of 3 endpoints, ready to run
Search the cvs.com catalogue by keyword and read CVS's own result total, with full pricing on every row.
// Press "Try it" and this pane shows exactly what the // live site returned this second — including an empty // result, if that is the truth. No key, no account.
How the CVS Pharmacy API works
CVS Pharmacy is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 438 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
Search once, re-price in bulk
Collect sku_ids from search, then resolve them 200 at a time.
CVS reported 496 results for this keyword. Keep each row's sku_ids — those are what the bulk lane resolves.
Every offset returns a different window, and an offset past the end returns zero rows while still reporting the true total.
Up to 200 IDs in one request. Anything CVS did not resolve comes back in missing_ids instead of disappearing.
One product in full, including per-channel stock quantities and coupon text.
A keyword's full result set, re-priced in blocks of 200, with per-channel stock and coupons wherever you need the detail.

}Measured US front-store coverage
Two independent live runs on 2026-10-03, same script and same engine build: 4 keywords, 97 product rows from 4 categories, 8 full detail records, 3 batch sizes and 11 negative cases.
cvs.com United States front-store retail, prices in USD. CVS's own sitemap lists 26,883 products and 34,477 skus.
Keyword search with CVS's own result total; limit 1-48, offset paging. A 496-result keyword returned a different window at offsets 0, 20, 40, 60, 67, 100, 134, 300 and 480, the last 16 rows at 480, and zero rows past the end.
1-200 product IDs per request, about 640 bytes per product. 200 of 200 sku_ids resolved in one call; 250 IDs is rejected by CVS.
Variant matrix with per-variant price and attributes, four fulfilment channels each with status and CVS's own promise quantity, ExtraBucks and manufacturer coupons with expiry, and the CarePass, HSA/FSA, SNAP, store-pickup and same-day flags. Stock quantity present on 8 of 8 products.
The same 8 products priced through all three actions in one run: 8 of 8 matched exactly, in both runs. Of 191 sampled rows only 16 carried a real discount, and sale_price is published only for those.
product_id, title, brand, image, variant_count, sku_ids and price 97 of 97 rows. URL 78 of 97 — 18 of the 19 gaps are sponsored tiles, for which CVS publishes no URL. Rating 85 of 97. Unit price 71 of 97.
No barcode, UPC or EAN. No store-level price: 4 real store IDs against 8 skus gave 32 comparisons and 0 differences. No prescription or pharmacy pricing, no shipping weight or dimensions, no description, ingredients or review text. No working sort and no working filter — CVS accepts both and returns either zero rows or the unfiltered set, so neither is offered.
Median 2,351 ms for search, 1,979 ms for product/detail, 1,924 ms for a 25-ID batch, one upstream request each.

Get a free key →What is the CVS Pharmacy API?▾
CVS Pharmacy API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for cvs pharmacy It returns live JSON through POST requests under /cvs/v1.
Is the CVS Pharmacy API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. CVS Pharmacy calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a CVS Pharmacy login or account?▾
No login to CVS Pharmacy is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the CVS Pharmacy data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the CVS Pharmacy API use?▾
CVS Pharmacy actions currently cost 1-2 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call CVS Pharmacy from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call cvs actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
Is the CVS Pharmacy API a CVS Pharmacy scraper?▾
It is the managed alternative to a DIY CVS Pharmacy scraper. Instead of building and maintaining your own scraper — proxies, headless browsers, captcha and constant breakage — you call one ReefAPI endpoint and get the same cvs pharmacy back as clean JSON.
Why does my CVS Pharmacy scraper keep getting blocked?▾
Most CVS Pharmacy scrapers break on anti-bot defenses, rate limits and IP bans that need rotating residential proxies and browser fingerprinting to clear. ReefAPI handles all of that for you — no proxies, no captchas, no maintenance — and returns live JSON. Blocked calls are free.
191 E-commerce & Marketplaces APIs on the same key
One key, one credit pool, one response envelope. If you are pulling CVS Pharmacy, you are one call away from the rest of the category — no second contract, no second integration.
Need something this API does not do?
Name the endpoint, the field, or a source we do not carry yet. We ship new APIs every week and you would be first to get the key. Real people read every message and reply the same day.
Try it on your own data before you pay anything
The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 437 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-10-03.
