Lider API & Scraper
Lider is Walmart's chain in Chile, and its website has two catalogues: the supermarket (super.lider.cl) and the general store (www.lider.cl, electronics, home and toys, with Marketplace sellers).

`search` returns one page of about 44 products from either catalogue: item_id, name, brand, price in Chilean pesos, the crossed-out price and the saving when the product is on Rebaja, multi-buy deals such as "Combina 2 x $3.000", the unit price per litre, kilo or unit, the price per kilo for loose produce, stock state, seller, category path, rating and a flag on sponsored placements, plus the filter values Lider offers for that search with their counts. Filters: brand, category, campaign ("Precio Lider"), the Chilean warning seals ("alto en azúcares"), Lider or Marketplace seller, price range, sort and page. `product` takes an item_id and adds the UPC, all images, the description, the specification table (ingredients, net content, country of origin, food-condition tags), nutrition rows, order limits and the pickup and delivery labels.
What a Lider field actually contains
Fields that read differently from how they look. Every row was measured against live Lider pages on 2026-10-14.

Prices are the ones Lider shows a visitor who has not picked a store: the site's default store in Santiago (Vitacura) for the supermarket. Read from a Chilean connection and from abroad in the same minutes, 248 products gave identical prices and stock.

Questions developers ask before integrating
Do I need a Lider account or a Lider BCI card?
No. Everything is read logged out. The Tarjeta Lider BCI discount is applied in Lider's cart, not on product pages, so it is not part of the data.
Supermarket or general store?
Both. Pass store=supermercado (default) or store=catalogo. They are separate catalogues: "televisor" matched 47 products in the supermarket and 6,514 in the general store on 2026-10-14.
Which filters are there?
brand, category, campaign, seal, seller_type, min_price and max_price, each checked against the unfiltered count in the same run: "leche" 575, brand Soprole 60, campaign Precio Lider 125, category Lácteos 340, seal "alto en azúcares" 33, price 1,000-2,000 CLP 165. Values are exact and case-sensitive; copy them from facets in any search answer.
Can I sort and page?
Yes: sort by relevance, price low to high or high to low, and page through about 44 products per page. max_page tells you the last page; asking for a page past it returns no rows and beyond_last_page true.
Can I choose a comuna or a store?
Not yet. Prices are the site's default store in Santiago, which is what a visitor sees before choosing a delivery address. The answer names the store it priced.
Do you return stock counts?
Lider publishes a stock state (IN_STOCK or OUT_OF_STOCK), not a count, and that is what is returned. Out-of-stock products stay in the results.
How fresh is the data?
Every call reads Lider live; nothing is cached. In two runs a search took 2.6 seconds at the median and a product 2.6 to 2.7 seconds.
Are sponsored products marked?
Yes. sponsored is true on paid placements Lider mixes into results (0 to 6 per page in our runs), and sponsored_count gives the total per page.
What is the Lider API?
Lider API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for walmart chile's supermarket and general store: clp shelf prices, rebaja and multi-buy deals, unit price and full product data. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /lider/v1.
Is the Lider API free to try?
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Lider calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Lider login or account?
No login to Lider is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Lider data?
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Lider API use?
Lider actions currently cost 3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Lider from an AI assistant or MCP client?
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call lider actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
