Chợ Tốt prints a price as a plain figure, in millions, or in billions depending on what is being sold. The engine returns the source's own integer and carries the printed string beside it, so you can check one against the other on any row rather than trusting a conversion.

Measured 2026-09-30 against the live gateway across seven searches spanning goods, property and vehicles, with every price checked against the string the source printed. Three of these lines go against us.
One national marketplace and one currency. The same search envelope covers all three verticals, and what differs between them is published as the source's own attribute list rather than as columns invented to make them look alike.
Eighty prices were checked against what Chợ Tốt printed, across all three of its shapes - a plain figure, a figure in millions and a figure in billions - with zero disagreements. A billion resolves correctly: 3,5 tỷ comes back as 3,500,000,000. The string is never parsed into the number; it is carried so a caller can check the number without trusting us.
The phone, the hidden-phone flag, the latitude, the longitude and the address attribute row are dropped inside the parser before any redaction runs, which means they cannot be restored by asking for personal data. Verified on live responses: those keys do not appear at all in the raw output, not as null and not as empty.
An unknown key returns byte-identical results, and no parameter comes back in the response, so the echo trick that works elsewhere is unavailable here. Each published filter was instead proven against a same-run control: seller type split private and professional into two sets that add up exactly to the unfiltered total, region narrowed the set with every row's own region matching, and a price window returned only rows inside it. Nothing unproven is published.
The source stops counting at ten thousand, so a large category reports that figure and means ten thousand or more. The response flags when the ceiling was hit rather than presenting it as a real total.
Measured over ten trials on a relevance sort, and the overlap grows the longer you wait between calls, because the ranking moves underneath you. A newest-first sort pages cleanly: five trials, no overlap at all. If you are walking a whole category, sort by newest.
None of the rows measured were promoted placements: this endpoint serves the organic list, and the site's promoted carousel is a separate call that is deliberately not published. The first rows of every measured surface are in the sample, so this is an absence rather than a gap in sampling.
The source's own geography dictionary stops at district level, so the finer ward filter takes an id that nothing in the API will translate for you. It is published as the id it is rather than dressed up as a place name.
An unknown category and a nonsense keyword both return zero rows with a successful status, not an error and not a block. A dead advertisement id and an unknown region each return not-found.
No browser and no residential vantage point: this source answers a plain datacentre exit directly, which is why it sits at the cheap end of the catalogue.
