Measured 2026-10-01: the Arabic word for Camry matches 49 of 50 returned titles, while the latin spelling returns a different set entirely, so search in the script the source uses.

Haraj is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 321 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
Search in Arabic, and do not expect a price on most ads
Two things decide whether this API is useful to you. First, Haraj is an Arabic marketplace: the Arabic word for Camry matched 49 of 50 titles in one run, while the latin spelling returned a different set. Second, most Haraj sellers do not publish a price at all, and the share depends entirely on what you search for.

Measured 2026-10-01 against the live gateway: 22 fixed cases run twice at 22/22, 279 rows for the field counts, plus an independent audit across four different queries. Two of these lines go against us.
Saudi Arabia. Content is Arabic and right-to-left; searching in latin script returns a different set, not a translation of the same one.
listing_id, title, url, description, city, seller_username, posted_at and tags on 100% of rows. neighbourhood 95.7%, images 95.0%.
Measured across four queries on the same day: iPhones 75.6%, furniture 31.7%, cars 20.0%, and property 0.0% — not one of 40 apartment ads carried a price. Overall 32%. Where the price is null, the source published nothing: zero rows had a price string without a number behind it.
Haraj accepts a price range and it does change the result set, but the rows it returns contradict it: in a 50k-80k band, only 8 of 21 priced rows fell inside. A filter that disagrees with its own rows is worse than no filter.
The source treats page 0 as page 1. Left alone that hands you the same 21 rows under two different page numbers.
Asking for 61 to 200 returns HTTP 200 and the default 21 rows. Measured twice at different times, so the cap is enforced here instead.
The seller's phone number is never fetched. Only the public username and numeric id the ad page itself shows.
