Stamps, postcards and coins: what is for sale, what sold, and for how much
The Delcampe API turns delcampe.net, the Belgian marketplace where collectors buy and sell stamps, postcards, coins and banknotes, trading cards, old paper and photographs, into JSON in four actions.
4 active endpoints. Every call is 3 credits.
- POST/delcampe/v1/search
- POST/delcampe/v1/item
- POST/delcampe/v1/seller
- POST/delcampe/v1/categories
What Delcampe endpoints does ReefAPI ship?
4 live read endpoints. Read-only data API: no writes, no account actions, no dashboard access on the target site.
Delcampe API
3 of 4 endpoints, ready to run
Listings for sale or already sold, by words, category, sale type, price and seller.
// Press "Try it" and this pane shows exactly what the // live site returned this second — including an empty // result, if that is the truth. No key, no account.
How the Delcampe API works
Delcampe is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 530 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
From a catalogue number to what it really sells for
Three calls, from a stamp's description to the prices it sold at and the dealers who sell it now.
Closed sales of the stamp with the final price of each, highest first.
The sale in full: final price, purchases with date, end time, shipping and the seller.
The same stamp on auction now, closing soonest first, with the current bid on every row.
Sold prices next to today's bids for one stamp, with the sellers and their ratings one call away.

}One query, filtered thirteen ways — Delcampe's own counts on 2026-10-15
The number of listings Delcampe reported for the search 'napoleon' with each filter, measured in one run. The API passes each filter to the site and returns the site's own count in meta.total.
| filter | listings |
|---|---|
| none (for sale now) | 210,641 |
| category Stamps | 126,826 |
| fixed price only | 92,545 |
| auctions only | 117,981 |
| auctions that already have bids | 54 |
| auction-house lots | 115 |

| price 10 to 20 EUR | 28,376 |
| sellers in Belgium | 8,468 |

Counts above about a million are rounded by Delcampe and move as listings come and go; pages stop at 10,000 rows, so narrow a big search with filters.
What Delcampe publishes — measured 2026-10-15
Delcampe is a Belgian marketplace for collectors across Europe and beyond. These are the numbers and limits measured on the live site.
Stamps, postcards, coins and banknotes, modern collectible cards, old paper, photographs and 30 more top categories; 87,373,200 listings for sale counted on the site without filters.
Fixed price, auction (with or without bids) and auction-house lots; sold listings searchable separately.
Price in the listing's own currency, price kind, price before a discount with the discount percentage and the lowest price of the last 30 days, every bid with amount and time, purchases, start and end time in UTC, platform fee, shipping zones with countries and costs, description, category path, large images, seller.
27 of 27 listings had the same price on the search row and on their own page, 9 discounted listings among them (5 % to 50 % off, the price before the discount checked too); on every auction the price equalled the highest bid; 12 of 12 search rows resolved to the same listing in item.
12 to 480 rows a page, 10,000 rows per search. Counts above about a million are rounded by the site.
Bidder and buyer nicknames (shown by the site as Bidder #n / Buyer #n), end time and shipping on search rows (item has them), anything behind a login.
What people build with Delcampe
The jobs this data is most often used for.
endpoints
credits per call
Price a stamp or coin from real sales: search status sold with the catalogue number and read the final prices.
Watch auctions closing today: search sale_type auction_with_bids sorted ending_soon, then item for every bid.
Monitor a dealer's shop: search seller_id for new listings and seller for the rating trend.
Compare shipping to your country before you bid: item lists every zone's countries and costs.
What Delcampe data costs
The cheapest call here is 3 credits, so $15/mo (Pro) buys 3,333 of them — $1.50 per 1,000 credits. Credits roll over and never expire, and failed or blocked calls are not charged.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up Delcampe.
Get a free key →Can I get sold prices?▾
Yes. search with status sold returns closed sales with the price they sold at (166,603 sold results for 'napoleon' on 2026-10-15), and item on a sold listing gives status ended, sold true, the final price, the purchases with quantity and date, and the end time.
How are auctions shown?▾
sale_type is fixed_price, auction or auction_house. On an auction, price_is says whether the price is the starting price (no bids) or the current bid, bid_count gives the number of bids, and item lists every bid with the bidder's anonymous label as Delcampe shows it (Bidder #1, Bidder #2), the amount and the time in UTC. On every auction measured, the price equalled the highest bid in the bid list.
Which currency are the prices in?▾
Almost every Delcampe listing is priced in euros, and item always returns the listing's own price and currency. A few listings are priced in pounds or dollars (2 of 2,442 search rows measured); search marks those rows with price_is_converted and gives Delcampe's approximate euro figure as price_converted, and item gives the original price, for example 850 GBP.
Are shipping costs included?▾
The listing price excludes shipping and the buyer's platform fee, as on the site. item returns each shipping zone the seller set up with its list of countries and every shipping method with its cost (for example France: letter 1.52 EUR, tracked letter 2.02 EUR; 248 other countries: 2.25 and 5.05 EUR), plus the platform fee (10 % + 0.30 EUR; on a 1,850 EUR coin, 185.30 EUR).
What do I learn about the seller?▾
Every search row says whether the seller is a professional or a private individual. item gives the seller's id, nickname, rating and number of ratings, country, languages and member-since date. seller adds the rating over the last 12 months and since registration with transaction counts, for example 99 % over 168,456 ratings, and the latest feedback with score, comment and date.
How do I search one category?▾
Pass category_id from the categories action (30001 Stamps, 30002 Postcards, 30003 Coins & Banknotes, 34439 Modern Collectible Cards) or category_path exactly as an item's breadcrumbs give it, such as stamps/france/18491900. categories without an id lists the top level; with an id it gives the name, path, listing count, parent and sub-categories.
How many results can I page through?▾
Up to 480 rows a page and 10,000 rows in total per search, the same window as the site. meta.total is Delcampe's own count; has_more and last_page say how far the window reaches.
What is not included?▾
Anything behind a Delcampe login: bidders' and buyers' nicknames (the site shows them as Bidder #n and Buyer #n), contacting a seller, buying or bidding. Search rows do not carry end times or shipping costs; item does.
What is the Delcampe API?▾
Delcampe API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for delcampe stamps, postcards, coins and collectables as json: listings for sale or already sold, every bid with its amount and time, shipping costs per zone, and the seller's ratings. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /delcampe/v1.
Is the Delcampe API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Delcampe calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Delcampe login or account?▾
No login to Delcampe is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Delcampe data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Delcampe API use?▾
Delcampe actions currently cost 3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Delcampe from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call delcampe actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
