How the Kieskeurig API works
Kieskeurig is a normal ReefAPI surface — the same four rules that hold for every other engine on the key.
No OAuth app, no request signing, no per-site account. One key covers all 530 engines.
Every route is a POST with a JSON body. Parameters are validated against the published schema before anything is charged.
Credits, not seats. Failed and blocked calls are never charged, and cache hits cost nothing.
One envelope everywhere. meta carries latency_ms, record_count and the endpoint that answered.
From a keyword to every shop's price and the price curve
Search Kieskeurig in one market, pick the products, then read their offer lists and price history.
Products with product_id, EANs, the cheapest offer incl. shipping and its shop, number of offers and review score.
Every shop: price, shipping, total, delivery promise, shop rating; refurbished offers apart.
The daily lowest price for about six months, each point with its EAN.
The same product's Belgian offers, for a cross-border comparison.
A dated price feed per product and market: the cheapest offer incl. shipping, every competing shop, and the price curve behind it.

}What a Kieskeurig field actually contains
Fields that read differently from how they look. Every row was measured against live Kieskeurig responses on 2026-10-15.
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
| country | nl or be. Offers, prices and counts are per market ("iphone 15": 6,903 products in the Netherlands, 7,987 in Belgium); the same product_id works in both. Prices are in EUR. |
| lowest_total_price (search row) | The cheapest NEW offer including shipping, the price Kieskeurig puts on the product card. It equalled the cheapest new offer in offers on every product checked; refurbished offers are not counted in it. |
| offers[].total_price | What the buyer pays at that shop: price plus shipping_cost. A Belgian shop listed a TV at 227 EUR plus 19 EUR shipping, total 246. |
| offers[].discount_price | A shop's temporary discount as the site shows it: a washing machine listed at 759 EUR carried "now 709 after 50 EUR off", shown with 759 struck through. total_price keeps the listed 759, discount_price holds 709 and effective_price is the price the site ranks by. |
| refurbished_offers[] | Refurbished shops in their own list. The page's structured data mixes them in: an iPhone 15 Pro read 679 EUR there (a refurbished offer) while the cheapest new offer was 1,054 EUR. summary gives both, plus lowest_total_price_any_condition. |
| price_drop_pct | The percentage on the site's own "prijsdaling" badge, published as the site prints it. |
| price_history.points[] | One point per day with the lowest price that day and the EAN it belongs to, about six months back. Every point's EAN is checked against the product's own EANs. The chart's daily low can come from any offer that day, so it can sit well below today's offers. |
| reviews[].other_variant | A review can be written for another variant of the same product family; reviewed_product_id says which product it was written for. |
| total / reachable_total | Kieskeurig's own count of matching products, and how many of them it lets you page through (the first 10,000). |
The same search, category and offer lists came back identical from five different network locations, so the market is set by the country you ask for, not by where the request comes from.
Kieskeurig coverage, measured
Every number below was read from live Kieskeurig responses on 2026-10-15, in two runs of about 90 calls each across both markets.
Netherlands and Belgium, EUR. "iphone 15" matched 6,903 products in the Netherlands and 7,987 in Belgium; Smartphones held 12,544 products in the Netherlands and 26,583 in Belgium.
Smartphones 12,544 → Apple 372, 300 to 500 EUR 620 (24 of 24 rows inside the range), on offer 1,241, lowest price ever 3,301, review score 8 or more 252, Android 1,331, storage 256 GB or more 1,124.
The search card's price equalled the cheapest new offer on 12 of 12 products; every new offer's price matched the product page's own structured data on 12 of 12 products in both markets; total_price equalled price plus shipping on every offer.
100 to 197 daily points on the products measured, every point carrying one of the product's own EANs. Three colours of one phone each have their own EAN and their own chart.
Every product_id taken from search and category rows came back as the same product in product, offers and price_history.
The first 10,000 rows of a listing can be paged; the price sorts follow Kieskeurig's own price index, which can lag a product's live price, so a few rows per page sit out of order; some products have their chart hidden by the site.

What Kieskeurig data costs
The cheapest call here is 1 credit, so $15/mo (Pro) buys 10,000 of them — $1.50 per 1,000 credits. Credits roll over and never expire, and failed or blocked calls are not charged.

The questions people actually ask before wiring up Kieskeurig.
Get a free key →Do I need a Kieskeurig account?▾
No. Everything is read logged out.
Which countries are covered?▾
The Netherlands (kieskeurig.nl) and Belgium (kieskeurig.be). Set country to nl or be. The Belgian site lists Belgian shops such as VandenBorre and Krefel.
Is shipping included in the price?▾
Every offer carries price, shipping_cost and total_price. total_price equalled price plus shipping on every offer measured, and the search card's price is the total.
Are refurbished offers included?▾
Yes, in refurbished_offers, kept apart from the new offers. Use condition=new or condition=refurbished on offers to get one list only.
How far back does price_history go?▾
About six months, one point a day, as Kieskeurig keeps it: 100 to 197 daily points on the products measured. Kieskeurig hides the chart on some products; those return no points and a warning.
Which filters are there?▾
Category, brand, price range, on offer, lowest price ever, minimum review score, spec facets and numeric spec ranges. Each was checked against the unfiltered count in the same run: Smartphones 12,544 → Apple 372, 300 to 500 EUR 620, on offer 1,241, lowest price ever 3,301, score 8 or more 252.
How many results can I page through?▾
Up to 100 rows per page and the first 10,000 rows of any listing; reachable_total and total_capped say where that limit falls. Narrow a large listing with filters to reach the rest.
What happens with an unknown category?▾
The call is refused with INVALID_PARAM. The categories action lists about 1,270 category slugs; top levels such as elektronica work too.
What is the Kieskeurig API?▾
Kieskeurig API is a ReefAPI endpoint group for dutch and belgian price comparison: every shop's price with shipping, new and refurbished apart, the daily price history, specs and reviews. It returns live JSON through POST requests under /kieskeurig/v1.
Is the Kieskeurig API free to try?▾
Yes. ReefAPI starts with 1,000 free credits, no card required. Kieskeurig calls use the same shared credit balance as every other ReefAPI engine.
Do I need a Kieskeurig login or account?▾
No login to Kieskeurig is needed for the API response. You call ReefAPI with your x-api-key header, and the playground can run live examples before you create a production key.
How fresh is the Kieskeurig data?▾
The page example is captured from a live search call, and production requests fetch live data through ReefAPI rather than a static sample.
How many credits does the Kieskeurig API use?▾
Kieskeurig actions currently cost 1-3 credits per successful call. Failed or blocked calls are free. All APIs draw from one credit pool.
Can I call Kieskeurig from an AI assistant or MCP client?▾
Yes. Connect ReefAPI once through MCP and your assistant can call kieskeurig actions with the same key, credit pool and JSON envelope used by normal REST requests.
266 E-commerce & Marketplaces APIs on the same key
One key, one credit pool, one response envelope. If you are pulling Kieskeurig, you are one call away from the rest of the category — no second contract, no second integration.
Need something this API does not do?
Name the endpoint, the field, or a source we do not carry yet. We ship new APIs every week and you would be first to get the key. Real people read every message and reply the same day.
Try it on your own data before you pay anything
The call above is the real endpoint, not a recording. A free key gives you 1,000 credits, the other 529 APIs, and the same envelope everywhere.
Endpoints, parameters and credit costs on this page are read from the live catalog and cannot drift from what the API accepts. Field notes were captured on 2026-10-15.
