# Skelbiu.lt — Lithuania classifieds (cars, real estate, electronics, jobs)

> Search Skelbiu.lt adverts by text and/or category, with city, price range, private/business seller, verified-identity and buy-now filters and three sort orders. Returns the site's own total, the private/business split and up to 24 adverts per page.

## How to call
- **Endpoint:** `POST https://api.reefapi.com/skelbiu/v1/<action>` with a JSON body.
- **Auth:** header `x-api-key: <YOUR_REEFAPI_KEY>` — create one free (1,000 credits, no card): https://reefapi.com/signup
- **Response (every call):** `{ ok: boolean, data: ..., meta: { record_count, credits, ... }, error: { code, message } }` — branch on `ok`. Failed calls are free except verified SHEIN NOT_FOUND on product/detail and price (4 credits).
- **One key + one shared credit pool** across every ReefAPI API. Per-call credits are listed on each endpoint below.
- **Use it from an AI agent (MCP):** connect `https://api.reefapi.com/mcp` (remote streamable-http). Send the key as `Authorization: Bearer <key>`, or put it in the URL (`?key=<key>`) when the client has no header field, as ChatGPT does.

## Endpoints

### POST https://api.reefapi.com/skelbiu/v1/search — 3 credits
Search Skelbiu.lt adverts by text and/or category, with city, price range, private/business seller, verified-identity and buy-now filters and three sort orders. Returns the site's own total, the private/business split and up to 24 adverts per page.

**Parameters:**
- `query` (string, optional) — Free-text search, as typed into the site's search box (at most 50 characters, the site's own limit). Lithuanian words match best. Either `query` or `category_id` is required.
- `category_id` (integer, optional) — Skelbiu category id from the `categories` action (e.g. 31 = cars, 41 = flats for sale, 53 = job offers). Either `query` or `category_id` is required.
- `city_id` (integer, optional) — One city or district id from the `cities` action (465 = Vilnius, 43 = Kaunas, 119 = Klaipėda).
- `min_price` (number, optional) — Lowest price in EUR (the advert's own price).
- `max_price` (number, optional) — Highest price in EUR (the advert's own price).
- `seller_type` (enum, optional, default "all") — Private or business sellers. Rows of a filtered search carry `seller_type`; the site does not print the seller type anywhere else. [one of: all, private, business]
- `verified_only` (boolean, optional, default false) — Only adverts from sellers with a confirmed identity.
- `buy_now` (boolean, optional, default false) — Only adverts that can be bought online with the site's own secure checkout.
- `sort` (enum, optional) — Order. When omitted the site's default applies: relevance for a text query, recently renewed for a category. [one of: relevance, newest, renewed]
- `page` (integer, optional, default 1) — Result page, up to 24 adverts each. The site serves at most 200 pages (4,800 adverts) per query; page 201 does not exist.

**Returns:** total (the site's own count), total_capped, seller_counts{all,private,business}, page, last_page, has_more, listings[]{listing_id, url, title, price_eur, price_text, price_per_m2_eur, price_change_pct, salary_text, employer, buy_now, location, renewed_text, renewed_date, params[], description_snippet, image, stars, highlighted, status (sold|reserved|null), seller_type}

One Skelbiu.lt advert in full: price (with the page's structured price as a second witness), price change, category path, every specification row, features, description, photos, view and bookmark counts, renewal date, buy-now fees and the seller block as printed.

**Parameters:**
- `listing_id` (string, required) — Advert id from a `search` row (`listing_id`), or the advert URL.

### POST https://api.reefapi.com/skelbiu/v1/categories — 1 credit
The Skelbiu.lt category tree with live advert counts: top level, or the children of one category. Ids feed `search` `category_id`.

**Parameters:**
- `parent_id` (integer, optional) — Category id whose children to list (1 = transport, 2 = real estate). Omit for the top level.

**Returns:** parent_id, parent_title, categories[]{category_id, title, level, parent_path, count, subcategories_text, has_buy_now}

### POST https://api.reefapi.com/skelbiu/v1/cities — 1 credit
Every Lithuanian city and district Skelbiu.lt filters by, with its id for `search` `city_id`.

**Parameters:** none

**Returns:** cities[]{city_id, name, major}

## At scale
- **Volume:** 5M+ requests a day, measured at 60 requests a second across the fleet with no
  central bottleneck. Per-key limits are raised for high-volume accounts; volume pricing on request.
- **Missing a source:** tell us a site we do not cover and it becomes an engine. A customer asked
