# Konga API — Nigerian marketplace prices in naira, previous price and discount, stock and units sold, marketplace sellers with ratings, delivery options, reviews and the category tree

> Search Konga (konga.com, Nigeria) by keyword and/or category, brand or seller, with price range (on the selling price), minimum rating, free shipping, pay on delivery, pickup, express delivery and fulfilled-by-Konga / by-vendor filters, sorted by relevance or price. Each row: product id, title, brand, URL, image, price in NGN, previous price and discount when the product is reduced, stock and units sold, seller id and name, rating and review count, delivery flags. Plus the source's own exact total. One of `query`, `category_id`, `brand` or `seller_id` is required.

## How to call
- **Endpoint:** `POST https://api.reefapi.com/konga/v1/<action>` with a JSON body.
- **Auth:** header `x-api-key: <YOUR_REEFAPI_KEY>` — create one free (1,000 credits, no card): https://reefapi.com/signup
- **Response (every call):** `{ ok: boolean, data: ..., meta: { record_count, credits, ... }, error: { code, message } }` — branch on `ok`. Failed calls are free except verified SHEIN NOT_FOUND on product/detail and price (4 credits).
- **One key + one shared credit pool** across every ReefAPI API. Per-call credits are listed on each endpoint below.
- **Use it from an AI agent (MCP):** connect `https://api.reefapi.com/mcp` (remote streamable-http). Send the key as `Authorization: Bearer <key>`, or put it in the URL (`?key=<key>`) when the client has no header field, as ChatGPT does.

## Endpoints

### POST https://api.reefapi.com/konga/v1/search — 2 credits
Search Konga (konga.com, Nigeria) by keyword and/or category, brand or seller, with price range (on the selling price), minimum rating, free shipping, pay on delivery, pickup, express delivery and fulfilled-by-Konga / by-vendor filters, sorted by relevance or price. Each row: product id, title, brand, URL, image, price in NGN, previous price and discount when the product is reduced, stock and units sold, seller id and name, rating and review count, delivery flags. Plus the source's own exact total. One of `query`, `category_id`, `brand` or `seller_id` is required.

**Parameters:**
- `query` (string, optional) — Search words, as typed in Konga's search box.
- `category_id` (string, optional) — Konga category id (digits) — from the `categories` action, a product's `categories`, or the number at the end of a konga.com/category/... URL. Includes every sub-category.
- `brand` (string, optional) — Brand name as Konga writes it (e.g. Samsung, Apple, Infinix).
- `seller_id` (string, optional) — Only this marketplace seller's products (the `seller.id` of a row, or the number in konga.com/merchant/<id>).
- `min_price` (number, optional) — Lowest selling price in NGN.
- `max_price` (number, optional) — Highest selling price in NGN.
- `min_rating` (number, optional) — Only products rated at least this (1-5).
- `free_shipping` (boolean, optional) — true = only products with free shipping.
- `pay_on_delivery` (boolean, optional) — true = only products that can be paid for on delivery.
- `pickup` (boolean, optional) — true = only products that can be collected at a pickup point.
- `express_delivery` (boolean, optional) — true = only products with express (same-day, KongaNow) delivery.
- `fulfilled_by` (enum, optional) — konga = only products stocked and shipped by Konga; vendor = shipped by the marketplace seller. [one of: konga, vendor]
- `sort` (enum, optional, default "relevance") — Order of results (price = selling price). [one of: relevance, price_asc, price_desc]
- `page` (integer, optional, default 1) — Result page, starting at 1.
- `page_size` (integer, optional, default 40) — Rows per page (1-100; the site uses 40).

Full record of one Konga product: title, brand, description, images, selling price in NGN, previous price and discount, stock, units sold, order limits, seller with its sales and ratings, fulfilled by Konga or the vendor, free shipping / pay on delivery / pickup / express delivery, warranty, rating histogram, review count, specifications by group, categories, variants (size / colour) each with its own price and stock.

**Parameters:**
- `product_id` (string, required) — Konga product id exactly as a search row returns it in `product_id` (digits; also the number at the end of the product URL). A konga.com product URL is accepted too.

Customer reviews of one Konga product: average rating, review count, the 5-to-1 star histogram and every review the product carries (star rating, comment when written, reviewer display name, date, seller), newest first.

**Parameters:**
- `product_id` (string, required) — Konga product id exactly as a search row returns it in `product_id` (digits; also the number at the end of the product URL). A konga.com product URL is accepted too.

### POST https://api.reefapi.com/konga/v1/seller — 2 credits
A Konga marketplace seller's store: name, city and state, official-store flag, how long it has sold on Konga, units sold, delivered orders and delivery score, quality and communication ratings, plus one page of the seller's products (same row shape as search) and the seller's exact product count.

**Parameters:**
- `seller_id` (string, required) — Seller id (a search row's `seller.id`, or the number in konga.com/merchant/<id>). A merchant URL is accepted too.
- `page` (integer, optional, default 1) — Result page, starting at 1.
- `page_size` (integer, optional, default 40) — Rows per page (1-100; the site uses 40).

### POST https://api.reefapi.com/konga/v1/categories — 2 credits
Konga's category tree as the site's menu publishes it: category id, name, URL, parent id and depth (three levels). The ids work in search `category_id`.

**Parameters:**
- `parent_id` (string, optional) — Only the direct children of this category id.

**Returns:** categories[]{category_id, name, url, parent_id, depth, active} + total

## At scale
- **Volume:** 5M+ requests a day, measured at 60 requests a second across the fleet with no
  central bottleneck. Per-key limits are raised for high-volume accounts; volume pricing on request.
